This file is then "mounted" (or "connected") from SecuBox program. After "Mount" it appears in the Windows Mobile system as a new storage card and "looks and feels" just like a usual storage card.

You can do anything with this virtual card you would do with a usual SD card - only that when you write data onto it, it is automatically encrypted. Whenever you read information from this storage card, it is automatically decrypted. The entire process is transparent to you.

You can create several virtual encrypted volumes using SecuBox, each of them will be seen as a separate storage card. Up to encrypted 10 storage cards can be mounted at the same time.

Strong password - secure data

When you create an encrypted volume, SecuBox prompts you to select the name and properties of the container file, as well as the password that would protect this file from access.

Whenever you mount the storage on your Windows Mobile device, SecuBox encryption software asks you for your password. Once you enter the password, the secure storage is mounted and you are able to access your encrypted volume.

Without your password, the encrypted data on your Windows Mobile device looks like a jumble of meaningless characters and your data is completely inaccessible to anyone who wants to get access to your private data.
